Annabelle believes that the needs of each child are unique and different. This philosophy is reflected in the careful recommendation of to fit each child’s need. She adopts an empathetic, non-judgmental, person-calibrated approach to create a safe and validating environment to support children and families in exploring their challenges.
She has worked with children, parents and families in different clinical and community settings. She has helped individuals with complex childhood trauma, emotional dysregulation, and socio-emotional difficulties.
Annabelle believes every child deserves to grow up in a healthy and nurturing environment to develop into healthy and responsible participants in society.
Annabelle works primarily with adolescents and adults. Annabelle's clinical interests include personality disorders, depression, anxiety, abuse, and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD).
In the child population, Annabelle was previously appointed to provide Custody Evaluation Reports (CER) to the Family Justice Courts of Singapore and has experience in assessing custody, and care and control issues.
Having lived in Melbourne, Bergen and Shanghai, Annabelle has provided therapy to a range of local and expat populations. She is also mother to young boys and a not so young feline. Stressful stuff, which Annabelle copes with by kneading bread dough.
Annabelle provides evaluation in English, Mandarin, Teochew and Hokkien.
